This international science workshop will be held in a hybrid format (on-site and online). The local symposium will be held in Toyama from 6th to 8th December 2024. The workshop will focus on sustainable and healthy oceans, with a particular emphasis on the stage of economic development and the transport of nutrients from land. The forum, which held as part of the workshop, is a joint event organised by IOC-WESTPAC and Future Earth Coasts, and will exchange information on the current status of nutrient management strategies in each country, and explore appropriate coastal management measures.
